TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That would be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
